Matthew McCain

Matthew McCain, the young author and painter based out of New Hampshire has written over half a dozen novels with three of them reaching #1 on Amazon Kindle Unlimited. After years of struggles with substance abuse and being diagnosed with Rapid Cycle Bi-Polar Disorder, he has made a name for himself. .

In 2018, his memoir Scribbles: A Drug Story was released, reaching #3 on Kobo. In recent years, especially during the pandemic, he began painting and eventually started incorporating his love for painting into his writing career. Matt has collaborated with some of the best artists in the business, ranging from Billy Morrison and Coki Greenway to James W. Johnson and Billy Dee Williams.

Despite the diagnosis of HNPP that effects the pressure points in his hands, Matt continues to paint daily. “Some days are harder than others, but I’ve always been told that you don’t give up on the things you love, no matter how painful it gets, and painting is definitely something I love.” He’s currently working on the album cover for Wild Aura’s third album due out in late 2023.
