“Big Pink Fluffy Cake” is 20″x16″ and framed sized is 22″x19″
This was a fun work to do. It was inspired by a 1950’s ad for tableware, but I was focused more on the cake. I used a slightly different technique than I normally do to raise and build up the frosting on the cake. It literally jumps off the canvas. I darkened the background to a deep blue purple to let the cake stand out even more. In real life, I actually like cake with a light coating of frosting. More cake than frosting is my motto.
