“Candle Sticks” Oil on Canvas 20″ x 24″.
“A couple of things I collect are old pitchers and copper ashtrays and other copper objects. The pitcher shown here is brown ceramic and the copper candle stick holders are copper. These items were purchased years apart. When I picked up the aqua tablecloth at a yard sale I put them all together on our dining room table and really liked the play of dark and light with some reflection from the copper. The blue hints of the table cloth are reflected in the smooth shiny finish of the pitcher while the copper candle sticks hint a bit of both colors”.
