This 11″x15″ Original Watercolor is matted (not framed) and the overall size is 13″x17″
Before we moved to NYC I visited it frequently. On one of my visits, I took along some water colors. I spent a lot of hours walking through Central Park on the way to and from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. My sister was a Shakespeare Scholar, and I was inspired to create this work while hanging out at the his statue in the park. It is set in a circular area with benches on the outer perimeter. On the weekends there are always performers who sing or play right next to the statue. Art inspires art.
