Description
“Vase of Roses” is 20″x16″ and the overall framed size is 24″x20″.
This work was inspired by a centerpiece I saw at an event. They were incredibly fresh and vibrant with color and scent. I accentuated the flowers over the vase as the focal point to bring out their impact. This is also a favorite work of mine as I really felt it captured that moment of initial sensation. This work was featured in the book Actors as Artists by Jim McMulland & Dick Gautier. This work was on the mantle of my house in Valley Village CA for years until we moved to Laguna Beach.
