Two lithographs – “Sunset Blvd.” and “Melrose Ave.”
These pieces are original, seven color lithographs on Papier D’Arches. They were had proofed and printed at Atelier Ettinger in New York City. Each piece is a limited edition of 500 and the plates have been effaced.
“Melrose Ave”
Both “Sunset Blvd.” and “Melrose Ave.” came about when I was interested in the bright, urban California landscape. I used the offset spacing, shadows, and deep blue sky to show the heat of the city on a sunlit day. They are glances at the iconic palm trees that line the streets of my hometown.
