“I was having lunch with a good friend in Old Towne Orange California, an antiques mecca in California. We ate at “The Filling Station” – a restored vintage service station. Old Towne Orange has a lot of unique old buildings (for the West Coast). It has been used as the back drop for numerous movies, from Tom Hanks’ “The Thing That You Do!” to Burt Reynolds “Cannonball Run”. During lunch I was showing him how my new camera which has a great long range feature. The photo inspired me to do a more moody piece and this was the result”.
