This 11″x15″ Original Watercolor is matted (not framed) and the overall size is 13″x17″
Before we moved to NYC I visited it frequently. On one of my visits I took along some water colors. I spent a lot of hours walking through Central Park on the way to and from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. There are a lot of iconic apartment buildings that ring the park. This work was inspired when I was hanging out on the lawn at Sheep Meadow people watching. There was a parent throwing a ball with his children. I painted it mid flight. It is a small dot to the right of the San Remo. The San Remo was built in 1930 and has been residence for a lot of famous people over the years. Demi Moore & Bruce Willis, Bono, Steven Spielberg, Diane Keaton, Dustin Hoffman, and others. I just really like the architecture.
