“Yellow and Red Peppers” – A couple of years ago, my husband and I took a 6 week driving trip throughout the West and Northwest. As we turned towards home from Vancouver, we stopped in Seattle to take in the sights. We stopped at Pike’s Market in Seattle for lunch and to explore. I took photos in the produce section. I have an extensive file of photos and thought I wouldn’t use them, however one day they looked just right for a series of works. I really enjoyed working with the bright reds, deep reds, and yellows. Creating these was satisfying because it’s a time to explore color and perspective.
